One important step in building a successfull website is having a great newsletter component. This is quite often forgotten and people seem to underestimate the big advantages of sending out newsletters. Here are some Joomla Newsletters compoenents that i recomend and works with almost all Joomla compatible hosting companys:

AcaJoom
This is probably the most popular Newsletter Component and one of the reasons is because of the flexibility it offers. Acajoom has so many settings and different ways of sending out newsletters. Keep in mind that it is pretty complex, so if you are very new to Joomla, then perhaps skip AcaJoom and go for something less complex.
AcaJoom has worked on all webhosting companies that i have installed it on so far.

Communicator
This newsletter component is far more simple than AcaJoom, it's really easy to install and you don't have many different settings as in AcaJoom. Commincator also works perfeclty on all tested Joomla Hosting companies.

Things to consider

Some things you should consider when choosing a hosting for your website:

  • Will there be much traffic on the site?
  • Will you have a community on your site? Then you should go for hosting with high CPU.
  • Which country are most of your visitors from? For most speed, get a server that is located in this country.
